I was annoyed with myself yesterday – for the last three weeks or so, I’ve been sticking to this diet, with no cheating so far.
That ended yesterday when I forgot to pack a snack bar to take with me to work. As usual, I have a couple of sausages and some bacon on a Friday to enjoy breakfast with my colleagues, and normally I have a snack bar at lunch time before either having a shake or a meal in the evening.
Because I didn’t have the snack bar, I needed to eat at work, and so I had a small salad with some chicken. Annoyingly my sweet tooth reared it’s head, and I had a craving for something sweet. Heading to the café, the only thing I could find was some citrus drizzle cake, so I had a slice of that. That evening I had chilli for dinner, and drank as much water as I could.
This morning I weighed myself as I do normally, and for the first time in a long time, my BMI hasn’t shifted at all – not a jot.
I’ve gone back on plan today, and I need to kick it up a gear now, as I’m fairly close to my target of sub-13st.
34″ waist, and hopefully a comfortable 16″ collar – those are my targets, and I’m going to hit them!
